Fishermen for 200 years
My name is Mario. I was born and raised in Amalfi, in a family that has been fishing for about 200 years. The sea has never been a job: it has always been my home.
Ever since I was a child, I learned to read the wind, the color of the water, the silence of the caves.
And while my father taught me how to fish, music found its way into my life. I made fishing my job for most of my youth, then I realized that with my boat I could do more to show how grateful I am to the sea and its riches: convey all its charm to visitors from all over the world.

I am a captain and a musician. The accordion has always been with me, like the sea.
Music is a traveling companion. On board my “Victoria,” I don’t play to entertain my guests, I play to share an emotion, to describe Amalfi without words. And there’s always a good reason to raise a glass.
When the sun is setting, when the sea is calm, when the moment is right, notes take the place of words. All the love I feel for the Amalfi Coast, and in particular for Amalfi, my homeland, is transformed into sweet and cheerful melodies that recall tradition and engage my guests, transforming moments of joy and authentic sharing into our boat tours exploring the Divine Coast.

My intention is not simply to “show” the Amalfi Coast. I want to bring it to life, I want to convey its authentic soul, its spirit, and its history, starting from the sea.
Every guest on my boat is different, every day is different. That’s why my tours are never the same. As we sail along the coast, exploring its shores and discovering hidden gems such as Amalfi, Capri, Positano and Sorrento, I recount stories passed down through the generations, along with historical and legendary anecdotes featuring mermaids, lovers, fishermen and travellers who have made this land immortal.
Those who board my boat take a piece of Amalfi with them.
